Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.
No man also seweth a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up taketh away from the old, and the rent is made worse.Īnd thou shalt bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it and thou shalt bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof.Īnd they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
